At its core, The Alchemist’s Jewel Box is an allegory of transformation. Woven flexigrass patterns curve into intricate mandala-like forms, resembling the clasp of a precious casket. Within, orchids in deep burgundy and glowing red emerge as treasures revealed, their rich tones echoing the colors of the desert sky at dusk.

 The composition celebrates duality: structure and softness, geometry and wildness, stillness and motion. Just as alchemists once sought to transform base matter into gold, this floral alchemy transforms nature into a jewel of color, shape, and emotion.
