Created exclusively for the Emirates First Class Lounge, this innovative design captures the essence of Dubai International Airport as a hub where the world’s cultures and journeys converge.

Crafted under the artistic direction of Damien Overputte, Creative Designer at Al Jowder Flowers, The Garden of Global Connections transforms the lounge into a vibrant living sculpture. The arrangement showcases a stunning variety of proteas, whose unique and exotic forms symbolize the diversity of landscapes and cultures that meet in Dubai.The floral structures rise in varying heights, echoing the vast network of airlines and the endless journeys possible from Dubai. Each bloom becomes part of a thriving ecosystem — a living symbol of connection, collaboration, and global exchange.

“Airports are not just transit points; they are gardens of possibility,” says Damien Overputte, Creative Designer of Al Jowder Flowers. “With The Garden of Global Connections, we wanted to create a piece that mirrors the spirit of Dubai — a place where cultures flourish together, much like flowers in a global garden.”

Positioned as a centerpiece within the Emirates First Class Lounge, this design continues Al Jowder Flowers’ tradition of storytelling through floral artistry.
